Confederations Cup quarter-final: Mazembe fall to Pyramids FC of Egypt

It was on Tuesday 05 April that the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the Confederations Cup took place at CAF headquarters in Cairo (Egypt).

The only Congolese representative at this stage, TP Mazembe will meet Egyptian club Pyramids Fc. The first leg will be played on April 17 in Egypt and the return leg in Lubumbashi on the 24th of the same month.

In the Champions League, the lottery gave birth to the following verdict :

Al Ahly (Egypt) vs Raja Casablanca (Morocco)

Entente Setif (Algeria) vs Esperance Tunis (Tunisia)

CR Belouizdad (Algeria) vs Wydad Casablanca (Morocco)

Petro Atletico de Luanda (Angola) vs Mamelodi Sundowns (RSA)

The first legs will be played between April 15 and 16, and the returns between April 22 and 23.
